At the time, he was staying at the \u003cspan class=\"s2\"\u003eHotel Chelsea\u003c\/span\u003e — and naturally wanted to be photographed there.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p2\"\u003eMy idea was to wrap him in a bedsheet and stage him like a ghost in front of the hotel. Kippenberger thought that was a bad idea. A pillow, he said, would be entirely sufficient. He was right.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p3\"\u003eBefore that, there were, of course, one or two beers at Café Central.
